  • How Implementing an Accounting System for DCAA Compliance Saves You Time and Money.

DCAA compliance is essential for any government contractor that wants to continue earning those lucrative contracts. The DCAA, or the Defense Contract Audit Agency, is responsible for ensuring that GovCons adhere to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government rules. Although compliance begins with your accounting system, your entire business must comply with DCAA regulations, even if only one department is responsible for fulfilling government contracts. As a result, you must prepare for all of the necessary audits, which may occur pre-award and post-award, and cover the gamut of your financial and business systems.Read More
