Jay Ethridge, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
CEO Jay Ethridge helms TBS with 35 years of experience in technical, managerial, and executive information systems management, support and consulting services.
Mr. Ethridge leads the concept, design and implementation of the Cloud hosting infrastructure and facilities for TBS, with a special emphasize on compliance, including NIST800, FAR52, and ITAR security controls and SOC2 audit assurance.
Mr. Ethridge’s experience in the GovCon Information Systems and Technology field is extensive and includes; designing and developing numerous technology systems, managing network application migration plans (Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, Deltek Costpoint®), vendor and budget management and project reporting.
Previously Mr. Ethridge served as a Vice President for Information Systems at Metamor where he was responsible for an $8 million Information Systems budget and management of 42 managers, engineers, and customer support personnel. Significant accomplishments included design, implementation and operation of a 55-site wide area network.
Eric Brown, Chief Operating Officer & Principal
TBS’s COO is Eric Brown, an original Deltek co-founder and software developer for the initial release of GCS Premier (1983), the very first commercially available accounting system for government contractors.
An industry veteran with extensive and pioneering experience as a strategic and technical leader, Mr. Brown has shaped the future of Cloud-powered software solutions for project-based businesses.
For nearly two-and-a-half decades throughout two tenures, Mr. Brown helped guide both Deltek’s software and business growth while serving in numerous capacities. Starting as a Lead Software Developer, he ended up progressing through a number of executive positions including VP of Software Development, Executive VP for Technical Operations, and a three year stint as Deltek’s Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brown led the development of numerous Deltek products including Costpoint, GCS Premier, Time and Expense, Vision, GovWin and more.
Throughout his span at Deltek the company grew from a start-up with 6 employees to a publicly-traded company with annual revenues of $300 million and over 1,000 employees.
In 2010, Mr. Brown became Vice President of Software Development at TBS, overseeing the development of SaaS products for project reporting, business intelligence, A/P automation, systems integration and project collaboration. In September 2018 Mr. Brown took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at TBS.
