Claritas Q2 Update adds Dashboard Visualization for T&M Labor Hours.

Monday, June 26 – TBS has released its second quarter update for Claritas, adding a new performance visualization for T&M project hours to the recently launched Aspire dashboard for GCS Premier.

The update expands the “New Claritas Experience” introduced by TBS earlier this year.

The New Claritas Experience and the Aspire Dashboard are part of a series of Cloud-powered automation apps that TBS is rolling out in 2017. The suite empowers TBS customers to get more out of their existing system investments with enhanced security, portability, and performance insights enhanced Claritas user experience is more responsive for all screen sizes, focuses on improved readability, and features larger functional controls and more streamlined navigation options for those on touch-enabled devices in the field.

The new Claritas includes:

  • an on-line dashboard, a single URL to access all TBS-hosted products – GCS Premier, Time Collection, Claritas, Time-Ade, SkyVault and more

  • performance charts for Aggregate Project Costs compared to Budget and Forecast, and for Period of Performance progress

  • an enhanced UI optimized for touch and tablets, with brighter and bigger icons, streamlined navigation options and improved readability

  • updated Cloud architecture that delivers instantaneous report configurations and dramatically faster syncing with QuickBooks and Deltek.

The Claritas update also adds fee calculations for unposted project costs, providing PMs with the most accurate daily job cost reports including labor from open timesheets plus ODCs and travel expenses not yet processed in Deltek or QuickBooks.

As promised, TBS continues to add new Claritas visualizations inspired by customer requests. The T&M Aggregate Project Hours Chart compares real-time incurred labor to the baseline project budget and the latest project forecast. The analysis displays as a line chart with monthly data points for trend tracking.

Project Managers click on the line chart to jump directly into that contract’s or task’s “T&M Profitability View” – an interactive job cost report that features real-time project expenses and labor.

Claritas’ signature feature is its one-of-a-kind daily job cost report called the “Single Project View.” The Single Project View shows project costs and profitability for Fixed Fee, Cost Plus and T&M Projects, including fully burdened labor hours from open timesheets not yet processed for payroll, plus job costs and travel expenses from unposted AP vouchers.

With the Q2 update Claritas now calculates fee on all unposted project costs, giving PMs and Execs the most accurate view of contract performance every single day – no waiting for the monthly accounting period to close.

For current Claritas customers, the TBS product team will be reaching out to schedule personalized orientation and onboarding sessions. Claritas customers may also contact to get started.

For organizations new to Claritas, TBS is hosting weekly Claritas Intro Demos every Thursday in July at 12:30 p.m. ET. To join, email or call 703.444.6562 x1.

Claritas is the flagship SaaS product from TBS, aggregating project performance details – including posted, unposted and unprocessed data — from an organization’s hosted QuickBooks or Deltek system into a suite of interactive dashboards and performance modules for project managers, financial managers and business leaders. In addition to 85 other performance views, Claritas includes daily Project Summary reports, Labor Utilization analysis, and a live Statement of Indirects, as well as easy-to-use Project Budgeting and Forecasting.
