When you host with TBS at our facility, you own the software, and if you want to host it in your own facility later – you can (initial contracts as short as 1 year).
TBS Hosting Infrastructure
We purpose built our hosting infrastructure to provide the best environment possible for Deltek products. We have sited our servers at 2 collocation facilities operated by Level(3)® Communications – facilities that serve as part of the largest Internet backbone within the continental United States. By hosting within these facilities, TBS has access to the fastest connection speeds and greatest continuity of services possible.
TBS provides a secure, top-tier hosting environment which features:
- SSL or AES 256 encryption for all data transiting the hosting facility
- Cisco Powered Firewall & Intrusion Detection systems
- Multi-layer security control procedures, dual factor biometric physical access, and 24/7 video and alarm monitoring

- HVAC-redundant design with air distribution under raised flooring
- Smoke detection systems above and below raised flooring
- Double-interlock, pre-action, dry-pipe fire suppression
- Overhead cable management and ladder racking to provide easy access to all cabling
Deltek® Software Application Delivery
TBS load balances across multiple hardware components and utilizes a shared set of application software. This allows us to provide consistent version and upgrade control across our entire client base.

On the Internet’s Backbone
Level(3)® Communications is one of the largest Internet backbone providers – operating 78 data centers across the U.S. and Europe and is considered a top Tier hosting provider comparable to AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Quest. These facilities are part of the Level(3) global internet backbone connected by OC192 connections and also are backed up by multiple OC48 connections by various other carriers.
Other ISP or hosting providers would need to connect through one of the top tier providers for access to the Internet.
