Technology & Business Solutions LLC has released its 12th consecutive quarterly update for Claritas, the on-line real-time project performance management app for Deltek.
Topping the list of new Claritas features are the launch of the much-anticipated My Financials module for Claritas for Costpoint, plus -- for both GCS and Costpoint orgs -- real-time project revenue forecasts for CPFF and FP projects and real-time project billing totals for all projects. (T&M project revenue forecasts have been available in Claritas since early 2012.)
On February 5, 2013, Technology & Business Solutions LLC received its SOC2 Type II Audit Report for 2012. Auditors found “no exceptions” throughout their 6-month testing of TBS audit controls for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy.
The auditors state: “In our opinion, in all material respects, Technology & Business Solutions, LLC’s... controls provide reasonable assurance that the applicable trust services criteria were met.”
WHEN: April 3, 2013, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta, Georgia
Wondering when to make the upgrade to Costpoint 7?
The AICPA updated SAS 70 back in 2011 with a new set of audits and controls, including some that apply explicitly to service provider operational procedures.
Still reluctant to put your data in the cloud? Don't be – the security is far stronger than anything your company can offer.
Sony, Walgreens, Best Buy, Citibank. What dubious connection do these well-known companies share? All of them fell victim to major, headline-making data breaches in 2011.
When data breaches happen to big companies, it’s natural for small businesses to take notice. Events like these create the impression that data – particularly data stored in the cloud – is vulnerable. In fact, recent research by Microsoft found that 51% of small business owners are hesitant to use cloud-based solutions because of data privacy concerns.
Despite these fears, a key fact remains: The cloud can offer far better security than you can provide on your own. Here are five reasons why:
Claritas is an incredible time saver. We can zip through and see how all our projects are performing in real time.
Our company president wants to know how our contracts are performing at all times, and he needs instant access to that data.
Claritas provides project perspective and clarity that allow us to identify and address cost issues in our contracts quickly. The Claritas dashboard focuses us immediately on only those projects that are problematic. You instantly see a warning, and you click right into the project details. Before Claritas we would wade through literally 140 pages of job summary reports to find out how we’re doing. With Claritas we’re far more efficient and more profitable.
The new Claritas Data Directory Self Service tool works like a charm. It saves me time and so much worry. It seems I’m always running late when it’s time to roll the month, and I worry about holding things up. Now I create my data directories whenever I want with 3 button clicks in Claritas – on weekends, at 8:00 at night – and keep the business moving. I’m not the most computer savvy person in the world, but Claritas is so easy. Claritas is great.
