Question – Do I buy the software from TBS?
Answer – No you buy the software from a recognized reseller or directly from the vendor.
Question – Where do I go to get implementation help?
Answer – A recognized consulting partner or the vendor – whichever firm you choose
Question – Where do I go to get application support?
Answer – Directly from the vendor
Question – Does TBS utilize hardware dedicated to my data?
Answer - No, TBS load balance across multiple hardware components and utilizes a shared set of application software
Question – Are patches loaded during the day?
Answer – Generally not. Since may patches require the restart of a service or server, patches are applied during our normal nightly service window.
Question – Will I be able to load data into my hosted system or interface with other corporate systems?
Answer – Yes, TBS provides secured file transfer protocols as well as a standard SOA interface tool.
Question – Will my hosted system require the same amount of implementation consulting?
Answer – No, you will generally incur less implementation cost in our hosted environment – for two reasons.
First - TBS will load your license files or scripts as well as establish the appropriate data sets for the application as part of the set up fee. Saving you the cost of building out servers and loading the software.
Second – TBS offers multiple implementation templates in support of our partners. Upon partner request, TBS will load preconfigured industry specific data sets, saving days of consulting time.
Question – Will I have access to training or development data sets?
Answer – Yes, additional data bases are available in 30 day increments on an ala carte basis.
